I want to be a writer. I don't know what I want to write. TV scripts, novels, poetry, articles, any & all would be good. Failing that, publishing, or being an editor would be equally amazing.
Whether I'll be any good is an entirely different matter. But I can hope, right?
I just love words- the idea that one arrangement, one word, one single letter, can change an entire meaning. How they're said, the history behind them. It's amazing.
I only wish I could translate this into speech- even a conversation in which my point is heard, would be a complete revelation. Nothing seems to come out right in sounds & voices- I stutter and stammer, until I end up saying something that was not the point at all. Written words are tangible. You can manipulate & tease the right phrasing out of a sentence; create a world of images with a single word. There's so much possibility.

So, there we are.

That's the goal; now, the journey.
